I absolutely adore this little owl. I was excited to get to photograph him again this weekend. The light and weather on Sunday afternoon were perfect for capturing him in this little hole.

I think it might be about time for another road trip down to Dingle. Is there a better part of Ireland?

Wildlife can be brutal to witness at times. However, I am really drawn to the intensity in this bird of prey’s eyes…

The Rock of Cashel - once the seat of the Irish kings of Munster, it was the spot in the 5th century where St Patrick preached and converted the king and people of the area. Today the 12th and 13th century ruins of a cathedral sit upon this hilltop. It is a must visit if you ever come to Ireland.

Ever feel like you are being watched? I am amazed at the number of fox that I encounter in Dublin. Last night on a walk with my dog we saw two. They saw us long before we saw them, and they both slipped away into shadows before my dog even got a whiff of their scent.

It was an awesome but fast summer. I’m finally back in Ireland to stay (for a while). It is going to take me forever to sort through all of my photos from the summer! Expect to see some travel pics posted from time to time!

Our Camino journey may be over, but in many ways it will never be finished. I’m thankful for the time to walk with these two amazing guys. I’m already planning my next trip back.

I can’t get over the light in this monastery yesterday. Such a great place to linger and spend some time in silence. The Camino de Santiago is full of surprises.

I spent the afternoon exploring the monastery next to our hostel. I couldn’t get over the light here. Wow! What a peaceful and beautiful place…
