Another weekend... another hike in Wicklow. I might be jumping in to this whole hillwalking thing with both feet... but I'm loving it. This last hike was completely different to the first one. For starters - the weather was MUCH better and the trail - well... there was actually a trail to follow! The mountain was much harder, but much more enjoyable. I did something this weekend that I have been wanting to do for a while now. I joined a hiking club. For years now I have been talking about it... but the need to exercise (aka train for the Camino next spring) and meet new people finally pushed to do it. There are a lot of great hiking clubs here in Dublin and it can be competitive to get one of the limited spots on the hikes... but I was able to join one yesterday. The club is called "the challenge hikers".... but I did
