Here are just a couple more of the hooker racing that we took over the weekend... I love their dark sails as a contrast to the rocky land. #livinghisotry #blackandwhite #seascape #galway

Last night I took my wife out to eat at one of her favorite restaurants in Galway. As we walked back to the car we noticed several beautiful elements all moving towards each other. There was the ever photogenic landscape view from the Claddagh, swans swimming down the river Corrib, and a small hooker fishing boat quickly moving down the same river. I only had my phone but I ran out to the edge of the river and snapped a couple of quick photos. It was magic. #Galway #swan
I had an amazing adventure yesterday on the Saltee islands in Wexford. I have wanted to visit these bird sanctuaries for over a decade now... and they did not disappoint! It was a great day to sit and the sun... watch the birds... and climb along the cliffs! Be prepared for more bird photos over the coming days! #bird #wildlife #otherpics #wexford
There is something truly special about the forests and woodlands of Ireland... This little river that runs through this patch of woods in Wicklow is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in the East of Ireland. I don't get here often enough! #wicklow #wood #trees #river #longexposure #green #favoriteplaces
It was amazing to watch the tall ships sail in and out of the sunlight yesterday morning... I couldn't help but stand there and appreciate the beauty of them dance across the horizon as they worked hard to catch the wind. #blackandwhite #tallships #sunflare #seascape #boat #history #livinghistory
I got up early and made the hike over to Bull Island in hopes of catching the Tall Ships as they left the river Liffey yesterday morning. I ended up waiting for most of the morning, but I'm glad that I didn't give up! The tall ships did eventually make their way out of the port and into the Irish Sea. #history #livinghistory #seascape #lighthouse #dublin
