I love this little pub in Connemara. We have stopped here countless times to take in the views of the Mam valley. The pub was once a thriving and fun place to catch a music session, and we on more than one occasion made the drive here just to enjoy the music. I'm sad to say that it now looks like it has closed. I got up early and made the hike over to Bull Island in hopes of catching the Tall Ships as they left the river Liffey yesterday morning. I ended up waiting for most of the morning, but I'm glad that I didn't give up! One more aerial shot of the most famous passage tomb in Ireland - Newgrange. The massive mound sits on a small hill overlooking the Boyne river valley. The whole area is littered with prehistoric sites... but none can compare with Newgrange. The white stone front and enormous carved stones around it must have been an impressive sight 5,000 years ago! I know that it is today!! #history #livinghistory #drone #sunset #meath #landscape
