Newgrange...
Sunset at Newgrange.
I had a blast exploring this world heritage site from the air the other evening! Newgrange is truly an amazing place to catch a sunset or sunrise. This prehistoric sacred spot was built around 3200BC and was designed in such a way that light would only enter a small shaft in the mount and illuminate the interior of the mound on the winter solstice. This world heritage site is older than Stonehenge and the pyramids.
